ABOUT US
The Armstrong Center for Community Learning (ACCL) connects people to resources to enhance lifelong learning. The ACCL is located in Ford City, PA and serves Armstrong County and the greater Pittsburgh region.
The ACCL's core programs include online and in-class programs empowering learners of all levels the ability to expand their knowledge base and reach for new opportunities. The ACCL offers programs tailored to learners’ needs using Edmentum courses.
The ACCL test center offers a variety of certification and licensure opportunities for residents of southwestern PA, including high school equivalency (GED or HiSET), NREMT, PA State Police, PA Educator Certification, CompTIA, PA Cosmetology & Barber, Microsoft, etc. Additionally, we offer College Level Examination Program (CLEP) testing and TEAS testing for nursing students. Testing partners include Pearson VUE, PSI, Assessment Technologies Institute and ETS.
Additionally, the ACCL operates the Outdoor Discovery Center at Crooked Creek which offers nature and environmental educational programs for children and adults.
