ACCL Awards Ten Scholarships from the Ralph and Mary Lou McAllister Scholarship Trust Fund

The Armstrong Center for Community Learning (ACCL) held a luncheon on August 17, 2021 to congratulate the recipients of the 2021 Ralph and Mary Lou McAllister Scholarship Trust Fund. The annual scholarship is awarded to students who live within the Ford City, PA zip code and who are planning or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree. The McAllisters were lifelong residents of Ford City, where Mrs. McAllister was an active citizen and interested in the welfare of the local community.
The ACCL awarded scholarships to:
- Ciara Anthony, $3,500.00, The University of Valley Forge;
- Brailey Frankhouser, $3,500.00, Duquesne University;
- Kylie Frankhouser, $4,500.00, Duquesne University;
- Sophia Johnson, $3,500.00, Indiana University of Pennsylvania;
- Kylie Judge, $4,500.00, Slippery Rock University;
- Taylor Relich, $4,500.00, Duquesne University;
- Sydney Spang, $4,500.00, Clarion University of Pennsylvania;
- Tonya Velcko, $2,500.00, Penn State University-Behrend;
- Justin Waugaman, $2,500.00, Slippery Rock University;
- Olivia Whiteman, $4,500.00, Grove City College.
