Join us for an exciting, interactive career fair connecting high school students, educators, and guidance counselors with leading employers from a wide range of industries.  The third-annual Armstrong-Indiana Career Fair is moving to West Shamokin High School in 2026!

More than 300 high school students in grades 9-12 will explore a variety of career pathways, discover emerging job opportunities, and connect directly with professionals who are ready to share insights and answer questions.  Students will meet employers offering internships, training programs, and career opportunities; learn about in-demand skills and growing industries; and receive guidance from educators and career specialists.  It's a chance to inspire students in their next steps after high school.

FEATURED KEYNOTE ADDRESSES: CAREERS IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ROBOTICS (New for 2026!)

Don't miss our special keynote sessions, when industry experts will inspire students with a look into the rapidly evolving world of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.  Learn about how these technologies are transforming the workforce, what skills will be in high demand, and how today's students can prepare for careers of tomorrow.  Speakers include Dr. Justin W. Aglio, Associate Vice President for Penn State Outreach and Executive Director of the Readiness Institute at Penn State.  Additional keynote speakers will be announced soon.

Justin W. Aglio, Ed.D. is the Associate Vice President for Penn State Outreach and Executive Director of the Readiness Institute at Penn State, where he leads nationally recognized work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, education, and workforce development. An internationally recognized educator and strategist, Dr. Aglio has served as a teacher, building administrator, district leader, adjunct professor, and visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University, bringing deep, real-world perspective to his leadership in AI literacy. A pioneer in the field, he helped launch the nation’s first K–12 artificial intelligence program and has been named among the EdTech and eLearning Top 100 Influencers for his impact on the future of learning. His work has shaped national conversations through the Presidential Maker Roundtable at the White House, The Global Impact Forum, and features in Forbes and Education Week. Recently, entrepreneur and philanthropist Mark Cuban recognized Dr. Aglio’s early leadership by proclaiming, “Justin is officially the Godfather of AI for Kids across America,” reflecting his belief that AI should expand opportunity, spark curiosity, and prepare every learner to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
