Snowshoeing Basics

Learn the fundamentals of Snowshoeing! Tired of wishing to be outside when the snow gets deep but you don’t want to sink-in up to your knees?  Then join us on Saturday, January 22nd to find out about snowshoeing your way through the winter with expert Joseph Triebsch.

This course will help you select the footwear and clothing that will ensure you are prepared for a day of stomping through the snow. You’ll learn about the different styles of snowshoes and the pros/cons of each. Wondering where you can rent, borrow or purchase these snow tamers?  That will be discussed too. Finally, information will be provided about great places to go to experience the same snow that Bigfoot so loves … well, at least our local version of Bigfoot.

All participants need to wear a mask.  Thank you.
